Opened in 1981 as a neighborhood swim and racquet club, Cross Gates
Athletic Club has grown since into a major attraction within Slidell.
Opened to all Cross Gates residents, as well as other paying customers
from across Slidell, Cross Gates Athletic is a clean, family oriented
recreational club who welcomes all no matter their age or physical
condition. Outdoor facilities include a children's pool, family
pool, and a "lap pool" for serious swimmers. Inside are
two floors filled with a plethora equipment to satisfy your fitness
needs: a gymnasium, cycle studio, weight rooms, cardio-vascular
training "theatres", and a "Jammin' Jungle"
for the youth of Cross Gates Athletic.
Facilities such as child care, a full cafe', tanning, saunas, spas,
and nail care also are available for members.
